Graduates

As a Sellafield graduate, you’ll be at the heart of a smart community - a network of ambitious, team-spirited graduates who will shape the future of an entire sector.

Applications for our Graduate Scheme 2017 intake are now closed. You can now register your interest for updates regarding our 2018 intake by clicking here.

Join us and you’ll be part of an organisation with unique heritage. The Sellafield site has been operational since the 1940s, when it was used to support the Second World War effort. It became a fully functional nuclear power station in the 1950s and successfully generated power until 2003.

Today is the decommissioning and reprocessing era for the Sellafield site. For our graduates it’s the opportunity to be part of a 100-year mission – offering engineering, technical, business and environmental challenges of fascinating complexity and sophistication.

You’ll be at the heart of a smart community – a network of ambitious, team-spirited graduates who will help shape the future – not just for the Sellafield site, but for the world’s nuclear sector. You’ll work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry-leading experts; recognised names in complex fields who will advise, challenge and mentor you in equal measures.

Here are some of the fascinating and fast-moving fields you could be involved in:

  • Commissioning
  • Construction
  • Design Engineering
  • Environmental Management
  • Plant Engineering
  • Project Management and Controls
  • Technical Support
  • Safety

Please see the Meet Our Grads section to understand in more depth the graduate roles within these areas.
