Who we are looking for:

The Test Analyst is responsible for the planning and execution of software System Testing and System Integration Testing across ISO projects and tasks to ensure the successful delivery of change.

About the role:

• Execute tests to evaluate system compliance against specified requirements.
• Review project and software design documentation and provide feedback to the relevant parties
• Keep track of new test requirements / change in requirements or changes to design and provide estimates for test preparation and execution against these.
• For in-house Sellafield ltd. application development, create test cases, scripts and specifications.
• Review test conditions, test cases and test specifications produced by other team members/the supply chain and provide feedback.
• Ensure the content and structure of all testing document artefacts adhere to the Sellafield ltd. standards and a full audit trail of all testing is maintained.
• Schedule testing across various test phases, logging defects, defect fix retests and regression tests and liaising with the test team to ensure that they are receiving the appropriate information, aligned to the Test strategy and plan.

To thrive in the role you will need:

• Experience/understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle.
Previous experience in a test execution-based role.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with all levels of internal teams and external business leads.
• Capable of handling multiples projects / initiatives simultaneously and executing to completion.
• Experience of using testing tools to record test specification steps and defects.

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience of performing the same role specific to IT Project Delivery
• Previous experience of managing testing utilising Application Lifecycle Manager (previously known as HPQC)
