ICT & Digital Innovation Work Experience

From Ideas to Impact: Experience Life in a Digital Team

Sellafield Ltd offers a 1-week ICT & Digital Innovation Sprint designed to help young people explore careers in digital technology while working collaboratively to solve real business challenges.

Based at our sites in West Cumbria and supported by digital professionals from across the organisation, the programme introduces learners to the way modern technology teams design, test and improve digital solutions.

Using an approach inspired by the Google Design Sprint methodology, participants will work in teams to understand a challenge, generate ideas, develop concepts, build prototypes and present solutions to business stakeholders.

Learners will gain practical experience of digital innovation, user-centred design, problem solving, artificial intelligence, cyber security, data, software development and emerging technologies while developing the essential skills needed for future careers.
