You don’t need to know what career you want yet. Evolve, a multidisciplinary work experience programme, that gives you the opportunity to explore different careers at Sellafield while working with other students to tackle a real-world challenge.

Throughout the programme, you’ll experience how people with different skills and specialisms work together to solve complex problems and deliver projects safely and successfully. You’ll explore areas including Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, Engineering Design, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Commissioning and Optioneering.

Rather than focusing on one career, Evolve helps you discover how different careers connect and where your own interests and strengths could take you.

  You’ll work with other learners on a challenge while exploring how different professional disciplines contribute at different stages of a project. The current programme identifies Robotics and AI, Engineering Design, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Commissioning and Optioneering as the areas learners encounter.

  Robotics and Artificial Intelligence: Explore how emerging technologies can be considered when developing solutions to real-world challenges.

  Engineering Design: Discover the role engineering design plays within multidisciplinary project delivery and how engineering thinking contributes to developing solutions.

  Project Management: Explore how projects bring people and activities together to work towards a shared outcome.

  Quality Assurance: Discover the role quality assurance plays within the delivery of complex projects.

  Commissioning: Gain insight into commissioning as one of the different disciplines involved in successfully delivering projects at Sellafield.
