Resource & MoC Coordinator
Job Description
Provide a professional service for an identified area within the business in relation to Site License Condition 36, Management of Change, Baseline Management, Organisational Design and resource management process.
Principal Accountabilities
• Provide professional advice/information/data to stakeholders concerning specific processes and in accordance with legislation, Nuclear Site License Conditions, organisation policy/process and best practice, ensuring that any issues are addressed in a timely and efficient manner
• Carry out screening of proposed organisational changes for Nuclear, Radiological and Environmental, Safety, and COMAH (NRESC) impact
• Lead local business improvement projects to support the continuous improvement of service delivery
• Supply HR information/data for internal/external use, identifying trends and areas of good practice/improvement for sharing across the organisation and supporting business decision making
• Identify service delivery problems, taking corrective action to address routine issues whilst escalating more complex problems to more senior colleagues to ensure timely and effective resolution
• Provide coaching and/or training to line managers to build managerial capability in relation to resourcing practice
• Support processes for contingent labour, specifically ASW renewals
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
• Collate and feedback suggestions for improvements in processes to improve performance and practices
• Monitor and maintain quality standards in relevant areas in line with organisation processes and procedures
• Support the wider Resourcing Team with the maintenance of SAP data and provide input to people reporting activities.
• Ensure the appropriate Management of Change processes are followed for reorganisations, especially where there may be a potential impact to nuclear safety
• Support the business area during regulatory events, specifically providing input to any inspections related to License Condition 36
• Support managers to maintain accurate SAP records, providing advice and coaching when required
• Support the Resource Lead to deliver the full range of service requirements
Knowledge & Experience
This role requires an appropriate level of professional knowledge and an understanding of the HR systems and processes used within the Company which are relevant to the particular field of HR.
It requires effective communication and relationship building with a variety of internal stakeholders across a range of disciplines, grades and roles.
Essential Skills
• HR or Programme and Business Management related experience
• Experience supporting project / business delivery
Desirable Skills
• Ideally accredited to CIPD Level 3 in modules appropriate to subject matter area (if not yet qualified, the successful candidate will be expected to achieve this qualification following commencement)
• For internal candidates suitable relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications where appropriate.
