Our ICT work experience programme has been created to give you a hands-on experience within our ICT teams.

Our ICT teams work across at a breadth of specialisms. We have teams who are responsible for our suite of platforms and applications, teams who ensure we have the data we need to make our business decisions, teams that source and supply specialist equipment, teams who design our systems and teams who look after the cyber security of these systems.

Our work experience programme will give you an insight into these roles and specialisms, helping you to understand the opportunities available within the Sellafield Ltd ICT teams.

You’ll take part in fun and engaging workshops, where you’ll get to work to solve challenges involving hardware, software, cyber security and coding.

Throughout the programme, you’ll learn the importance of reliable ICT to a business like ours, whilst building transferable skills like teamwork and analytical thinking.

By the end of the programme, you should have a better idea of whether a career in ICT is right for you. You’ll also get a better understanding of the understand the degree apprenticeship and graduate schemes pathways we have on offer.
