Our Data & Digital work experience programme has been created to give you a hands-on experience within our business facing development teams.

Sellafield, like many contemporary organisations, seek to harness the business benefits that a structured deployment of Digital technology can deliver, and the insight that trusted data provides. We deliver this across a range of tools and platforms covering data governance, data modelling, data visualisation, high and low coding tools and workflow systems. In tandem, these reduce process times, and ensure we have a repeatable approach to automate all aspects of our business environment.

Our work experience programme will give you an insight into these roles and specialisms, helping you to understand the opportunities available within the Sellafield Ltd Data & Dev team.

You’ll take part in fun and engaging workshops, where you’ll get to work to solve challenges involving some of our key tools like Alteryx, PowerBI and PowerApps.

Throughout the programme, you’ll learn the importance of reliable and trusted data to a business like ours, whilst building transferable skills like teamwork and analytical thinking.

By the end of the programme, you should have a better idea of whether a career in Data or Digital is right for you. You’ll also get a better understanding of the degree apprenticeship and graduate schemes pathways we have on offer.
