Through creative thinking, problem solving and people skills, Sellafield Advanced Business Analytics (SABA) play a crucial role in data driven decision making, extracting valuable insights from complex data sets, utilising tools and simulation models to undertake analysis, as well as developing new models, business tools and other Operational Research (OR) solutions.

During your work experience, you will gain an understanding and appreciation into OR, learning about real nuclear projects, completing tasks to demonstrate core OR principles, dealing with data, conducting appropriate analysis as well as an opportunity to experiment with an existing model.

You will work with degree apprentices, graduates, analysts, developers and project leaders during your placement, gaining experience of working within a busy team. Whilst you are with us, you will gain experience which will further your presentation, teamwork and communication skills, building the foundations for a successful career in the field.
