ASSESSMENT CENTRE Join us for an in-person assessment centre in Cumbria or Warrington. Take part in paired and individual exercises, interviews, and a technical presentation. Showcase your talents and connect with our team. CONDITIONAL OFFER Pass the assessment centre, and you could secure a conditional offer. PRE-EMPLOYMENT CHECKS Your offer depends on completing security clearance and a medical check. You’ll also need to provide evidence of your degree. These checks ensure compliance with Sellafield’s safety and security standards. CONFIRMATION OF START DATE & INDUCTION WEEK After completing checks, we’ll confirm your September start date. During induction, meet peers, senior management, and take part in training and community projects to start your Sellafield journey. We accept applications from graduates who have studied a diverse range of degree disciplines. You’ll need at least a 2.1 in your subject. For some of our professions/disciplines, there may be additional requirements such as requiring a masters level or higher level classification. Annual Salary Our graduates start off with a 24-month fixed term contract, with an excellent starting salary of £42,248, rising to £43,198 in your 2nd year on our graduate programme. Holiday Entitlement It’s not all work and no play at Sellafield Ltd. We aim to strike a good work/life balance by offering 30 days’ annual leave with statutory public holidays on top. Relocation Support If you’re relocating here from more than 30 miles away, we’ll support you with a relocation allowance of £1,400 and give you plenty of information on the best areas to live and how to find a place too. Annual Bonus You’ll have the opportunity to benefit from an annual bonus, linked to company performance, of up to £4000. The company reserves the right to review or withdraw the bonus schemes at any time. Attraction Pension Attractive defined contribution pension scheme – the company will match up to 13.5%. More Rewards More Rewards FAQs Can I apply to more than one profession on the Sellafield Ltd Graduate Programme? During your online application you will be given the opportunity to identify which profession area you would like to be considered for. We get to know you through the recruitment process to ensure that your preferred profession is best fit for you. I’m not a recent graduate and have some work experience, can I still apply? We accept applications from a variety of backgrounds including individuals who have graduated with a relevant degree. We are also keen to receive applications from people who have completed a PhD. If you come from this background, please make very clear any transferable work experience as part of your application. Can I send my CV instead of applying online? However we’d expect you to progress to professional/chartership status after you have completed the standard programme. If I am successful when will I start?
