As part of a highly trained team of Safety professionals, you’ll follow dedicated training programs and career pathways leading to specialist roles in Radiological Protection, Conventional/Construction Safety, Occupational Hygiene, and Fire Protection. You will support Sellafield in achieving its objectives for high hazard reduction while assisting plants through all lifecycle phases, from design and construction to operations and decommissioning. Typical Roles and Responsibilities As a placement student in the Safety profession, you’ll work with support and delivery teams progressing towards becoming a fully competent Advisor. Your role will include conducting assessments, investigations, assurance activities, and developing standards while attending stakeholder meetings regarding safety aspects of projects.
