Communications & Stakeholder Engagement work experience Learn more about our Communications & Stakeholder Engagement work experience programme available in West Cumbria and Warrington. This week-long programme has been developed for students to provide an insight into the critical role that members of the communications and stakeholder engagement professions play at Sellafield Ltd. This programme is ideal for you if you are interested in pursuing a career in marketing, media, design, photography, internal / external communications, and stakeholder engagement. During your week with us you will have the opportunity to take part in our project–based programme where you will learn about all aspects of communications and stakeholder engagement. You will be emersed within our offices and work alongside members of our media, stakeholder engagement, digital and social media, and internal communications teams. While the placement is office-based, we aim to bring to life Sellafield’s important role in the UK nuclear story with a visit to the Sellafield Story exhibition at the Beacon Museum, Whitehaven. Using the knowledge you develop through the week, you will be tasked producing a multi-media presentation detailing the past, present, and future of Sellafield Ltd aimed at people of your own age. We will invite you to present this to our head of external communications. Through the practical tasks that you will experience you will build awareness and skills in interviewing, writing for different audiences, using communications channels effectively, audience insight, measurement and evaluation, and presentation skills. What year groups is this work experience suitable for? The Legal work experience programme is suitable for learners in years 10, 11, 12 & 13. Apply now Apply now
