Job Description To provide front line specialist technical support service and guidance to Engineering and Maintenance (E&M) delivering the objectives of the E&M Strategy and ensuring compliance across all site licence conditions, NDA specifications and corporate strategies. Principal Accountabilities • Use and maintain specialist systems, programmes, and procedures in line with agreed policies and practices. • Co-ordinate and maintain data records and undertake data analysis, identifying trends to contribute to internal decision making and ensure compliance with site processes and standards. • Where appropriate, assist in the training and development of others to appropriate standards. • Ensure process adherence and increased data quality through the usage of the enterprise systems to aid decision making through engagement, influencing, and supporting individuals or teams to understand the benefits and standards. • Promote a positive customer experience, interacting and influencing stakeholders, resolve issues and problems or refer more complex issues appropriately. • Support the identification, collation, and implementation of improvements for continuous development of processes to improve performance and/or practices. Knowledge & Experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to advise and challenge individuals proposed decision making using technical knowledge. • Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organisation. • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload to meet business needs. • Team player who can work flexibly as part of an enterprise-wide support function. Essential Skills • Experience of managing, maintaining and assuring the quality of asset, engineering or technical data within business information systems, including the application of data standards, governance requirements and information quality principles to support effective business decision-making. • Experience working with asset management, engineering, maintenance or operational stakeholders to gather, validate, improve and communicate asset information, providing advice, guidance and constructive challenge to ensure processes and standards are consistently applied. • Experience supporting governance arrangements, including meeting coordination, action tracking, recording decisions and monitoring progress against agreed actions. • Experience using enterprise databases, information systems and reporting tools to manage, maintain and communicate information effectively. • Understanding of asset management principles and the role of asset information in supporting risk, investment and lifecycle management decisions, with experience identifying and implementing continuous improvements to enhance data quality, processes and business performance. Desirable Skills • Ability to analyse and interpret asset and engineering data, identifying trends, gaps and anomalies, and using reporting and analytics tools to support asset performance monitoring, data quality improvement and data-driven decision making. • Experience working within an asset management, engineering, maintenance or reliability environment, with an understanding of asset governance processes and experience supporting Plant Health Committees, Asset Governance Forums or similar decision-making groups. • Experience using SAMdb or a comparable Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to manage and maintain asset information. • Experience contributing to Asset Management Plans, Asset Life Models, asset investment planning or other activities that support lifecycle management and informed investment decision making.
