Job Description The Radiometrics Technical Representative is primarily responsible for managing the provision of high-risk goods and services to underpin the delivery of Radiometric Services to the Sellafield Site. They also support workscope management of the Radiometric Systems Group (RSG) Project. Deliverables • Carry out duties of Technical Representative with external contractors who deliver maintenance services on behalf of Sellafield Ltd (SL) (oversight and direction). • Ensuring goods and services meet requirements of SL standards and procedures. • Identifying and selecting compliant and efficient procurement routes for order placement. • Compliance with Sellafield Site management arrangements, standards and supporting instructions. • Management of spares and repairs involving external contractors. • Demonstrating compliance with local management arrangements and UK standards. • Preparation of scope documents, cost forecasts and variance reports on behalf of the workscope manager. Knowledge & Experience • Higher level qualification in an engineering or scientific subject or relevant engineering and maintenance experience. • Experienced Technical Representative managing contractors and suppliers. • Knowledge and experience of site procurement processes for demanding high risk goods and services. • Demonstrable knowledge of SAP including goods, services and cost reporting. • Prior experience in an engineering and maintenance role. • Knowledge of SL Enterprise Systems and other IT applications. Essential Skills • Higher level qualification in an engineering or scientific subject or relevant engineering and maintenance experience. • Proven experience acting as a Technical Representative, providing oversight, direction, and assurance of contractor-delivered maintenance activities. • Strong capability in managing relationships with suppliers and service providers to achieve safe and efficient delivery. • Competent user of SAP for goods receipt, service entry, cost monitoring, reporting, and maintenance-related activities. • Effective communicator, able to engage with engineers, contractors, suppliers, procurement teams, and management. Desirable Skills • Chartered Institute of Purchase and Supply Level 4. • Evidence of good team working and interpersonal skills. • Evidence of problem solving and diagnostic skills.
