Job Description Recruiters play a pivotal role in building positive relationships which enable the business to deliver safely and effectively. They are responsible for sourcing, identifying, evaluating, and selecting top talent, as well as scanning the external market to provide strong market analysis and insights. Working alongside the Resourcing Partner to identify emerging themes and trends that impact on Sellafield’s ability to secure key talent streams. With a strong understanding of recruitment brand placement and market gaps, key duties include informing and supporting the development of target resourcing strategies, supporting the business in the creation of compelling job descriptions, sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting initial assessments, facilitating the interview process and ensuring the candidate experience is managed well in commencement to employment. Principal Accountabilities • Support the Resource Partner to maintain a strong talent pipeline by proactively networking and engaging with potential candidates. • Benchmarking and screening external candidates and developing high-quality candidate shortlists for Hiring Manager review. • Conduct assessments of candidates to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. • Supporting the Resource Partner with the recruitment process across designated professions, from job posting to offer negotiation, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other relevant databases. • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the process, advising on interview techniques and best practices. • Responsible for monitoring the success of the attraction strategies and recruitment campaigns through reporting and data analysis. • Facilitate/participate in learning from experience sessions. • Stay informed about market trends, industry standards, and recruitment best practices to continuously improve the recruitment process at Sellafield Ltd. • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and regulations within the nuclear industry. • Collaborate with hiring managers to create detailed job descriptions and job specifications tailored to Sellafield Ltd. • Source and attract potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, job fairs and referrals. • Lead and act as a brand ambassador at various events, such as careers fairs or on-campus school talks/fairs. • Provide support to the social media strategy and development of content for use on various media platforms used by the recruitment team (careers site, blogs, social media, job boards), that will enhance our marketing activities. Authorities & Dimensions • Working closely with Resourcing Partner, Recruitment Administration and Onboarding Manager. • Support to Resourcing Partner to drive recruitment strategies throughout the E2E recruitment process in a timely manner and ensuring continuous best practice candidate experience. • Required to drive a proactive candidate centric experience to ensure we successfully meet business demand. • Consistency of approach is key, as well as collaborative working across the Resourcing Team and Professions. • Ensuring that Job Profiles and assessments are robust, help build our employee brand and value propositions. • Constantly reviewing the process to ensure timely and efficient recruitment. Essential Skills • Demonstrable experience of recruitment, talent mapping and informing talent acquisition / recruitment strategies. • Proven success sourcing scarce-skill candidates through headhunting tools and techniques, and promoting an employer of choice. • Experience in developing and delivering attraction strategies to build strong talent pools and candidate pipelines. • Proficiency with ATS systems and maintenance of accurate and up to date candidate data. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Sales and negotiation skills. • A goal- and solution-orientated approach to work. • Ability to manage and meet multiple deadlines and priorities. • Confidence and self-motivation. • Excellent team working and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment. Desirable Skills • Experience in relevant markets (ideally Nuclear Sector or similar highly regulated industries).
