Expression of Interest – Shared Service Role Opportunities We are inviting Expressions of Interest for mobilisation within Shared Service Band 5 roles. This opportunity is open to all Band 5 colleagues and offers development and broadening for individuals who enjoy delivering high‑quality administrative services, managing data, supporting customers, and working within compliance‑driven processes. The roles are within and provide a broad range of Shared Services activities across: • Security & Vetting (based in B111, 5 days) • Enterprise Contractor Services (based in an on Site office or Banna Court, 5 days) • Organisation Management (OM) (based in West Cumbria House, hybrid office and WFH opportunities typically 4 days office 1 WFH) All roles are full time positions. Knowledge, Skills & Experience Essential to all Roles • Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, high quality work. • Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentiality. • Effective planning, prioritisation, and ability to manage competing workloads. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. • Proactive, self motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities. • Ability to learn new systems, processes, and working practices. • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including active listening and customer service. • Ability to navigate systems and maintain high levels of data accuracy. Personnel Security, Vetting & Enterprise Contractor Services Responsibilities include: • Processing BPSS and NSV vetting applications to required standards for the supply chain following a set process. • Assisting with issuing and maintaining all aspects of the Security and Vetting Process (e.g. P4 / P1 passes, renewals / Short Term Workers etc) • Ensuring all documentation and actions meet regulatory and business requirements. • Working flexibly across both Vetting and Enterprise Contractor Service processes depending on business need. • Supporting customers and stakeholders in a professional and confidential manner. Role Specific Requirement: • Eligibility for SC or DV clearance (can be progressed following appointment). Organisation Management Responsibilities include: • Accurate and timely processing of OM transactions in SAP/OPMS in line with agreed KPIs. • Monitoring adherence to Organisation Design (OD) principles and highlighting non‑compliance. • Providing advice and guidance to stakeholders on OM processes, OD principles, and system capability. • Supporting users with system or process issues within your training and experience. • Maintaining appropriate system access levels (Manager Self Service, Shift Relief, Delegated Deputy). • Processing and analysing information, producing clear and accurate information when required. Role Specific Requirements: • Understanding of OM processes or willingness to learn SAP/OPMS quickly. • Ability to work to KPIs and maintain accurate organisational data. • Confidence in challenging or clarifying OD principles when required.
