The Site Management Strategy and Technical Team are offering an exciting opportunity to move into a new role at your current grade. Site Management Strategy and Technical are a multi-disciplinary team that primarily support Infrastructure and Analytical Services, but also interact with each of our value streams. The appointed Strategy Team Member will focus on the Utilities and Energy scope within the team’s deliverables, completing strategic studies, business-critical data analysis to inform decision making, and supporting the implementation of sustainability strategies across the business. This role offers opportunity to influence and impact; it is fundamental in developing and implementing the Site Integrated Energy Strategy. The Strategy Team Member will support our mission, taking action to satisfy our Carbon Footprint and Climate Change responsibilities. This is an opportunity to enhance and broaden your skills and knowledge, while working in a varied area of the profession. The appointed individual will collaborate closely with other NDA group members, improving their visibility with the infrastructure leadership team, Environment and Sustainability teams, and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Development: Lead and support strategic assessments and studies to develop underpinned strategic positions. • Project Support: Assist projects in maintaining strategic alignment and support operations and engineering teams in developing asset care programs. • Data Analysis and Management: Manage business-critical data and analysis to provide insights into best-value approaches for mission-enabling functions. • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders on the Integrated Energy Strategy and Carbon Management Plan. Share learning and make improvements on Energy and Carbon strategies with the NDA Group-Wide Energy Programme. Work with plant operations and engineering teams, and the Programme teams to develop and implement strategic requirements. Knowledge & Experience Essential Skills • Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering subject (BSc, BEng), or the equivalent relevant experience. • Ability to achieve membership of a relevant professional body. • Experience of optioneering and studies/strategic assessment work • Demonstrable experience authoring technical documents. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people at various levels of the organisation. Desirable Skills • Chartered in a relevant discipline. • Experience engagement with a wide range of stakeholders. • Experience delivering implementation plans based on strategic assessments.
