Job Description The Training Co-ordinator Lead is responsible for supervising training co-ordinators, ensuring efficient and effective service. The Training Co-ordinator Lead has accountability for their direct reports, and through their role offer support, education, coaching, facilitation and leaning for the Training Co-ordination Team. The Training Co-ordinator Lead will support the upskilling and development plans across the capability. Please note, this vacancy is only open to those who are in the Training profession. Key Accountabilities/Deliverables • Effectively supervise a team of Training Co-ordinators, supporting the Training Delivery Services across the Business. • Organising and managing day to day work tasks, including managing work flows and meeting site demand for service, ensuring sufficient staffing levels are available to cover all scope. • Create, review and implement local working instructions incorporating any regulatory and company requirements. • Coaching and Mentoring of Team Members. • Ensure accuracy of metrics and monitoring progress. • Ensure all Team Members hold and maintain a demonstrable competence in role to meet regulatory requirements. Where required, in role training is to be provided. • Deal with queries and anomalies as raised by stakeholders. • Maintain a good contact system with people at a number of levels both inside and outside the organisation. • Achieve and maintain customer and stakeholder satisfaction. • Provide support as a SME in respect of training compliance issues. • Perform self-assessments, Tier 2 &3 audits to ensure standards are adhered to. • Oversight of course schedule adherence. Essential Skills • Ability to provide leadership and support in a dynamic working environment. • Experience of planning and scheduling events or meetings within agreed timescales. • Excellent standard of communication skills and the ability to engage all levels within SL external companies. • Can provide evidence of being an effective team player with the ability to work with people at different levels. • Self-motivated, self-starter and able to work proactively on own initiative. • Ability to prioritise own workload, with attention to detail and timescales. • Good standard of IT Skills. Desirable Skills • Evidence of previous line manager experience. • Knowledge of Learning Management System.
