Rail

lf you’re travelling by rail on the Barrow/Carlisle line, leave the train at the Sellafield rail station. Trains stop at this station on request only. Passengers wishing to disembark from the train must inform the guard. On leaving the station, turn left and go up the hill to reach the Main Gate. The station is approximately 10 minutes from the Main Gate. The Sellafield Centre is approximately two miles from Sellafield. Please note: transport to the Sellafield Centre can be organised on arrival at the Main Gate or from the station by prior arrangement.
