Our 2027 graduate programme is almost ready to open for applications, offering graduates the opportunity to build their careers while helping deliver one of the UK’s most important environmental clean-up missions. At Sellafield, graduates don’t just learn about complex problems. They help tackle them. From supporting major engineering projects to helping shape the future of nuclear decommissioning, you’ll gain practical experience early in your career while contributing to work with real national importance. Here’s everything you need to know before applications open. When do applications open? Applications for our 2027 graduate programme will open on 4th September. We’re expecting applications to close on 23rd October. Some opportunities may close earlier if we receive a high number of applications, so we’d encourage you to apply as soon as you’re ready. What opportunities are available? This year, we’ll be recruiting graduates across a range of professions and areas of our business. Opportunities include: Commissioning Construction Design Engineering Engineering & Maintenance Environmental Operations People Function Project Management Radiological Protection & Safety Safety Case Technical What is the application process like? We know applying for a graduate programme can feel daunting, particularly if it’s your first experience of a structured recruitment process.
